What are Foam Core Sandwich Panels?

Foam Core Sandwich Panel is a type of 3 layers composite material, with a certain type of foam as sandwich core and laminated to decorative skins. 

What types of Foam Core Sandwich Panels do we produce?

1. Aluminium Sandwich Panels including: Aluminium PU foam core sandwich panel, Aluminium XPS foam core sandwich panel, Aluminium EPS foam core sandwich panel, Aluminium Rockwool sandwich panel.

2. Fiberglass Sandwich Panels including: Fiberglass PU foam core sandwich panel, Fiberglass XPS foam core sandwich panel. Fiberglass is also known as FRP or GRP

Features of Foam Core Sandwich Panels:

1. Thermal insulation. The foam core and greatly reduce heat transfer between the two sides of panel.

2. Sound insulation. The foam core can reduce the airflow and sound transmission.

3. Light weighted. The foam core is generally between density of 35 to 45 kgs/m3. Rockwool density is about 100 to 150 kgs/m3.

4. If we choose aluminium as skins, we can have good decoration effect & good anti-corrossion property. If we choose fiberglass as skins, we can have a chemical resistant, scracth resistant, impact resistant surface.

Applications of Foam Core Sandwich Panels:

1. For building decoration. Aluminium PU foam core sandwich panel, Aluminium XPS foam core sandwich panel, Aluminium EPS foam core sandwich panel, Aluminium Rockwool sandwich panel are all with very nice pre-coated surface, suitable to be used as wall panels for building.

2. For cold storage purpose. Fiberglass PU foam core sandwich panel, Fiberglass XPS foam core sandwich panel are used for making cold storage truck body, or for cold room wall panels.
