What is Dual Metal Aluminium Panel?

Bolliya Dual Metal Aluminium Panel is composed of two aluminium sheets bonded by adhesive film and laminated through a continuous thermal lamination process. Surface of the top skin is coil color coated with very smooth finish. 

Basic information of Dual Metal Aluminium Panel:

Total Panel Thickness: From 1mm to 3mm. Recommended Thickness for facade cladding is 2mm, 2.5mm and 3mm.

Top skin: 0.5mm or 0.7mm aluminium sheet, coil coated with PVDF, FEVE, PE as required, AA1100, AA3003, AA5005 optional.

Bottom skin: As required to achieve the nominated thickness.

Panel width: 1220mm, 1250mm, 1500mm, 1575mm up to 2000mm.

Panel length: 2440mm or cut to size.

Color Series of Dual Metal Aluminium Panel:

Bolliya Dual Metal Aluminium panel is available in many different colors and patterns, including special colors of wood pattern, stone pattern, corten steel look, copper patina look, bi-color etc. 

How is Dual Metal Aluminium Panel in comparison of Solid Aluminium Panel?

1. Double Sheet Aluminum Panel is easier to fabricate at job site, just same like ACP. It can be cut, grooved and fold easily at job site, very flexible to work with. Solid aluminium panel has to be pre-fabricated at manufacturer's mill and once it's made, it's not possible to adjust panel size at job site.

2. Double Sheet Aluminium Panel is pre-painted through a coil coating process, the color within one batch is very consistent and smooth surface. Solid Aluminium Panel is powder coated and easy to have visible color deviation within one batch of panel.

3. Double Sheet Aluminum Panel has a better panel strength and flatness comparing to solid aluminium panel at the same thickness.

Applications of Dual Metal Aluminium Panel:

Double Sheet Aluminium Panel is majorly used for facade cladding whereas a good wind resistance and high fire retardant property is required (BolliDual is classified under EN-13501-1, class A2-s1,d0), such as high rise buildings, hotels, hospitals, shopping malls, airports, stadiums, train stations etc.

Dual Metal Panels can also be made with different precious metals, such as Copper over aluminium, Titanium zinc over aluminium etc.
