What is Copper Honeycomb Panel?

Bolliya Copper Honeycomb Panel is made with a Copper sheet as top skin and aluminium sheet as bottom skin, laminated to an aluminium honeycomb core by using two components PU glue. Copper is a classic building materials that has long history. It's an active metal that will gradually oxidized and the surface of copper will aged naturally and develops a natural copper patina surface. Natural historical feel and long life span can be expected on Copper products.

Specifications of Copper Honeycomb Panel:

Panel width: 600mm, 800mm, 1000mm

Panel length: 2440mm or cut to size

Copper skin thickness: 0.5mm, 0.7mm, 1mm

Grade of Copper: T2 copper or Cu62 Brass

Core: Aluminium honeycomb core alloy 3003

Panel thickness: 10mm, 15mm, 20mm, 25mm or made to order

Shape of panel: flat panel, curved panel or pre-fabricated panel as per shop drawing

Finish: natural copper, natural brass, aged copper surface, patina copper surface

Features of Copper Honeycomb Panel:

1. Copper honeycomb panel is much lighter in weight comparing to solid copper panel at the same thickness.

2. It has much better panel flatness comparing to solid copper panel.

3. Copper honeycomb panel can be made in a much bigger panel size comparing to solid copper panel, it greatly reduces the joints of building elevation and making the decoration effect much better.

4. Copper honeycomb panel can be prefabricated as per shop drawing in our factory, it's easy to hang the panels onto aluminium framing.

5. Copper honeycomb panel keeps the same classic and elegant finish and decorative effects like solid copper panel has. The panel surface will naturally age & oxidized to form a chocolate color and eventually turn to green patina.
